On Wednesday, August 14, Alzheimer’s New Jersey®, the independent, Garden State non-profit providing continuous support for individuals and families battling Alzheimer’s and other dementias, visited Mattison Crossing to receive a donation of beach balls for their upcoming Point Pleasant Beach “Walk to Fight Alzheimer’s®.” Mattison Crossing is an assisted living and memory support center in Freehold, NJ and a Pewter Sponsor of the walk. The beach balls will be thrown to participants during the walk, adding a fun element unique to this event.

The Point Pleasant Beach “Walk to Fight Alzheimer’s” will take place on September 28, 2019 at the intersection of Arnold and Baltimore Aves in Point Pleasant Beach. 100% of the funds raised will benefit New Jersey families. There is no registration fee, however, fundraising is encouraged and vital to the success of the event. The first 1,000 registered walkers will receive a promotional tote bag and walkers who raise $50 or more will receive a complimentary event T-shirt.
