Imagine, A Center for Coping with Loss

From the moment a loved one is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, and throughout the disease’s progression, caregivers are often confronted with feelings of loss. Caregivers of individuals with Alzheimer’s disease experience loss on many different levels as compared to caregivers of those with other chronic illnesses. In our upcoming guest speaker webinar, Connie Palmer, LCSW, will define grief and loss as well as describe the impact of grief on caregivers, friends and family, and the person with dementia. Connie will also discuss strategies for coping with grief and supporting others who are grieving.
