Spring Forward for Alzheimer’s Statement

It’s hard to believe, that it’s been almost two years since we last gathered in person for our wonderful Gala event. While we had hoped to see all of you this past fall, COVID circumstances again caused us to postpone the event – a decision our Board felt was most prudent given what was the rising health threat of the Delta and Omicron variants. This was a difficult decision because our Gala event is so critical to raising awareness and much needed funds to support the needs of the 600,000 New Jersey residents affected by Alzheimer’s disease.
BUT – Now it’s time to Spring Forward for Alzheimer’s and we are pleased to announce that Alzheimer’s New Jersey will host a Benefit Reception on April 27, 2022, at The Stone House at Stirling Ridge in scenic Warren, New Jersey. Spring is a time of new beginnings – a time to look forward and that is exactly what we have planned for you at this delightful evening of fun and entertainment that will benefit New Jersey families impacted by Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.
With our new venue we are mixing things up a bit with the understanding that COVID may still be with us. We’ve moved from a sit-down dinner to a delicious cocktail reception with tasty hors d’oeuvres, chef stations and live entertainment in the warm and inviting Stone House Ballroom which opens to private gardens and fire pits – a casual evening with old and new friends not to be missed.
COVID has affected all of us. But I also know that we must continue to help and support families forever impacted by Alzheimer’s disease. Since the outbreak of COVID 19 the needs of New Jersey families have only grown as they have struggled with the challenge of caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s, and COVID 19.
So, please join us on April 27th with your friends, family and clients. Our strong support for helping families impacted by this life-changing disease will unite and connect all of us as we Spring Forward for Alzheimer’s.
