Awareness & Community Outreach

In addition to our programs geared towards dementia caregivers, Alzheimer’s New Jersey is increasing awareness of the disease through participation in community resource events and by providing community education presentations. Our community education model offers free presentations with the most up to date, evidenced-based information on dementia. We provide presentations on a variety of topics ranging from normal age-related changes in the brain to the basics of dementia.

• For FY 2024, 144 virtual and in-person community education programs were completed with a total of 4,139 attendees.
