Key
Elements of Dementia Care
Dementia-capable means being skilled in working with people
with dementia and their caregivers, knowledgeable about the
kinds of services that may help them, and aware of which agencies
and individuals provide such services.
ABAC
Activity-Based Alzheimer Care (ABAC) suggests that activities
are the foundation of care. Every event, encounter or exchange
is an activity.
