Advocate
  • Contacting and talking with local and state legislators as the “Voices for New Jersey Alzheimer’s Individuals and Families”.
  • Participating in special events that raise community awareness, and focus attention on the need for expanded medical and scientific research and care and support services for people with Alzheimer’s and dementia.
  • Attend local and national advocacy forums, such as the annual Washington DC, public policy “Hill Visits”, where we join with communities across the country as part of a national movement to fight Alzheimer’s.
  • Receive and respond to “Call to Action Alerts”

Alzheimer’s kills. It steals your intellect, your ability to communicate, your independence, and ultimately, your dignity. It’s a cruel, heartbreaking disease that affects one in three families. Researchers need additional funding for Alzheimer’s and institutional reforms that could help them stop this disease and families need resources and policies that will allow them to provide the care their loved ones deserve. If we don’t act now, Alzheimer’s will cost our nation more than a trillion dollars each year by 2050.

We’ve joined this movement because individuals with Alzheimer’s and their caregivers and families need our support – and they need it right away. One minute of your time can make all the difference.
