The Alzheimer's Association is working hard to increase awareness and to improve the policies that affect you, your family members and friends who are living with the challenges of Alzheimer's disease. We've made a lot of progress, but we still need your help!

Become an Advocate
The word advocate means "one who pleads the case of another." Many people with Alzheimer's disease are unable to plead their case, and their needs as citizens are forgotten or ignored unless others are willing to speak up on their behalf. Advocates have the ability to touch countless lives by participating in such simple acts as making phone calls or writing letters, and in many cases the impact of these actions will be felt by generations to come.
